Our Mission
The mission of Project DOVE is to break the cycle of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault as well as Human Trafficking, and Stalking by providing shelter, intervention, prevention education and support services for adults and children in our community.
Our Philosophy
We believe in the basic dignity of the individual. Every person has the right to be free from the fear of domestic violence and sexual assault.
We recognize the need for victims of domestic crimes to discuss their experiences with persons who are sympathetic and sensitive to the seriousness of those experiences.
We believe that the many cruel myths surrounding domestic violence and sexual assault must be dispelled.
It is important that victims be encouraged to make decisions for themselves and we emphasize our sincere belief in their ability to do this.
Education on the realities of domestic violence and sexual assault is required to eradicate these crimes.
